I'm months late writing this review so it applies to an October stay. The property itself was beautiful. The rooms are very nice and have comfortable beds. In terms of location it's a mixed bag being very close to the the Great Pyramid (and now the new Cairo Museum) but also further away from central Cairo, and very far from the airport. I would recommend a stay here if you are mainly visiting the Giza Plateau area, otherwise consider a hotel closer to downtown around the Nile. There were some very minor service detail lapses but it is also obvious there is a lot of effort going on in this area to refine and improve.

I think this hotel rivals some of the nicest European hotels I’ve stayed at. All of the staff were so kind and helpful and it was spotless and clean with great amenities, a fabulous breakfast and a Starbucks in the lobby which is apparently free to guests. Everything there looks brand new as it’s been recently renovated when it was taken over by Hyatt. We saw them wax/buffing the outdoor marble floors by the pool at night and constantly cleaning and trimming bushes. It was cooler/rainy when we were there and we didn’t get to swim in the pool but the water was nice and bath warm anyway and had a nice outdoor bar. I had a walk-in wash & curl and gel pedicure for only $36 USD and would’ve had a massage if I’d had more time. I wish we had more than one night to stay there and enjoy the general atmosphere.
