It's located on the lobby level of Grand Hyatt Kochi. It's a multi cuisine restaurant wherein buffet as well as Ala carte is available. We had the ifthar buffet dinner, which included mutton biryani, haleem, fish fry etc and the normal spread including North Indian, South Indian, Continental , etc. The staff were extremely polite and helpful...seven stars for service. The food was delicious.. mutton pieces in biryani and the curry were almost melting in the mouth as it was soft..the appam and chicken stew were fantabulous...the 'pulisherry' and fish curry were typical Kerala style and delicious . In short..it's better to skip a meal in the morning if u wish to really enjoy the buffet at Malabar Cafe. The total bill came to Rs 11K+ for four persons..but the Signature membership in Lulu gave us a discount of 30%.

Our recent family dinner at Malabar was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the impeccable service provided by Manager Johnny and the delightful company of Anisha and Abhishek who helped us in arranging the PDR for us. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly by the team as it was a celebration for us setting the perfect tone for our family gathering. We left with full stomachs and hearts with joy, already planning our next visit. Kudos to Manager Johnny and the entire team for setting such a memorable evening. Thank you once again team. With love
