Arrived for a cream tea afternoon with champagne. Was slightly disappointed as felt like we were in a reception / lobby area. Was at first offered presseco but told the waitress it was champagne. Couldn't fault the sandwiches or the cakes they were delicious. We did find that once we were given our sandwiches and had drunk one pot of tea. The waitress took a long time to see if everything was ok and I had to ask for more tea. Overall it was nice, but lacked good background music and ambience.

Took my friend for an afternoon tea and we had a pleasant experience. The sweet treats were lovely. They also provided us with non-alcoholic Prosecco as my friend doesn't drink alcohol, and she said it was the best she ever drank. The young server was helpful and pleasant.

Thoroughly enjoyable Afternoon Tea. We had the Wowcher deal, which was such good value. Just one tip, check out the finger sandwich fillings beforehand, as they were both just different types of cheese. Would have preferred something different, and not good if you don't eat cheese. Hence my reason for 4 stars.

Unfortunately quite an average afternoon tea. I took a friend here for her birthday and was glad she had a sense of humour about it. The sandwiches were made with stale bread (except the smoked salmon served on a Jacobs cream cracker, which was a bit bizarre), and the scones were ok but not freshly made. Our server was lovely and friendly though.
